Highland is a group of not only the three members that you can see on the videos; Nicole Heiland, Dean Burke & Patrice "Lady Scar" Gansau. Is is also Triple-M. Triple-M crew is a producer, composer and writer team which got it's name from it's members' frontnames : Mike Michaels , Mark Dollar and Mark Tabak. Triple-M crew stands not only behind Highland, but also other artists like Music Instructor, Ayman and Dean.

Highland got their first hit back in 2000, when "Bella Stella" hit the charts. They were the only remaining European Rap act that was on the top10 lists in Europe, after the golden European Rap/HipHop years. It prooved that they weren't only a one-hit-band, because their next two singles "Se Tu Voui" and "Solo Tu" were quite successful also. After that, they released the 4th single from their debut album "Bella Stella"; "Veni Vidi Vici". In all these songs, you can hear the "opera-sounding" voice from Nicole Highland, and the great rap verses from Dean and Lady Scar.

After some times quiet, Highland released a new single in 2002, called "Magic Fortuna", but that track only featured Nicole. After that, it has been no sign of anything new from Highland. The rapper Dean has done many other projects, and that is also why he has an own page on T-Music: Dean

After 7 years of silence,in April 2008, the fans got a huge shock, when the news of the new album "Dimmi Perché" was anounced. 10 new tracks, and 4 new versions of the old hits. The group now contains only Nicole and Dean, since Lady Scar is working on her own project. The songs "Figlia De La Luna", "Eternita" or "Cometa Magica" are already concidered as some of the greatest eurorap songs ever by the people on our forum, and the fans! Highland are really back with fire!
