Joseph "Joe" Thompson is a US American
born in 1972. He took part in operation Desert Storm in the Gulf
in the army. He then left the forces and began rapping with friends like
Rod D (Fun Factory). His first project was the eurodance group X-Pression, where he called himseld "Jackie" and together with the singer Toyya Atkinson (Toyya / Miss T), had a few hits like "There is a light" and "This Is Your Night" in the years 1994-1995.
In 1995, he then teamed up with the singer Mike Dalien to form the group DOWN LOW, which have had several world-wide hits like "Johnny B.", "Once Upon A Time" and "Moonlight" in the years 1995-2008. Joe also worked on projects like Rappers Against Racism (I want to know what love is), Hip Hop Alliance (Nothing Like Viva) and Rap Allstars (Last Christmas). He's always been very active in the music business.
In 2007, he recorded a song with Lorena Valiente, called "Come Back And Stay" under the name JayXL. The song was never released, although many people said it was one of the greatest songs that year.
