The first album of Rick Threat was released under the name "Rick Thret This is Digital Warfare: Mental Adventures of the Space Rider (WeDecrew)".
With the rise of artists such as The Rascalz and Swollen Members on a global level, Vancouver has also seen the rise of a number of lesser-known groups enjoying more localized success. One MC making his run at the throne was Rick Thret. His first LP, This is Digital Warfare: Mental Adventures of the Space Rider, was a great example of why the West keept on banging. The beats on this album were taken care of by Thret as well as DJ Fubar who also did most of the cutting on the album. The production was abstract at times but never failed to keep heads bumping. Threts smooth flow was a treat to listen to and he definitely did not fall short lyrically.

Hipjoint found this talented rapper and in 2003 released for him the 2nd album under the name "Rick Threat - Pain". There is when the eurorap sound came in. The songs like "Feel my pain" and "Turn Around" where Cory Lee features are eurorap masterpieces.

Then Rick Threat started a new project, called "Nothern Alliance", and also produced for The Waves and other project.
He also released the song "Dirty Girl" with Craig Smart in 2005. Craig has sand on many eurorap songs of for example A.K.-S.W.I.F.T. and Toni Cottura, and of course The Underdog Project. Speaking of The Underdog Project, Rick made a song with Vic Krishna called "Summer In The City". More featurings on his album "Pain" are Mr.Monze, Sarah Warren, Sites and Andreas.

Rick did also feature on two amazing eurorap songs. "Jazzabelle" with Harn Solo and Cory Lee in 2004, and also the "Apriciete" song with Honeys in 2007.

After that, Rick has made more of punk-rap songs, and his latest project is the MSA500.
