RīnīG were two guys; Ricardo Overman and Jay Delano. They released their debut album "The Year Of RīnīG" in March,1998. Their hit-singles "Rhythm of my heart", "Here Comes The Sun" and the super-hit "Open Up your Mind" were one of that years most played on the chart. Maybe there you had a reason for the album name. If you ask fans of European Rap & HipHop, which album they think are the best of them all, many will defenitely answer R'n'G "The Year Of R'n'G". Not only their hit singles are there, but also fantastic songs like "Can't Talk About It", "I Gave You Love", "187 Ways" and many more.

After their first 3 big singles, they released the song "Canīt U Ce?" which was a big hit aswell. It was a typical īgirl-songī and many girls liked it. Then they released the previously unreleased track "I Love Your Smile" which is a cover. It was they first cover, and also was a hit. And because "I Love Your Smile" isnīt on the "Year Of RīnīG"-album, it meant that they were working on a new album.

Then RīnīG released the fattest song from the first album, "Darlinī...I Think About You!", in december 1998. The video is a must see, and this song is also one of the big RnG favourites, of the fans. In the summer of 1999, the brand new single "Tequila (We came here to party...)" was released. "Tequila" is a a typical summer song. Make sure that you donīt miss the video. On the single of "Tequila (We came here to party...)", there was a brand new song called "I Wish I Could" and that song was voted for the greatest R'n'G track ever, in the T-Music Forum.

Then in the summer of 2000, R'n'G released the 2nd single from the forthcoming album. The single was called "Are You Ready?" and hit the charts all over Europe, and was for example nr1 in Poland.
In early 2001, they released the next single "Don't Give Up". It was also a hit, and reached very high position in some countries in Europe. In the beginning of June 2001, the new single "Miracle" came out. It is a superb R&B ballad with great sound.  Finally, in the summer of 2001 the new album was finally released! It was titled "The Right Time", but it only got released in Poland. Why? That is yet unaswered. Yeah for sure that R'n'G were very famous in Poland, but why they only released the album there is strange.

It must be a very hard thing to do, to follow up the great debut album. Well, R'n'G has very much succeeded with the second album "The Right Time", although it's less rap, and more R&B. This album was produced by the famous producer Bülent Aris, who together with Toni Cottura owned the Booya Music earlier. The great slow R&B songs "Miracle", "You Are Loved" and "Mi Amour" are just to good. And the two Spanish-sound songs "Tequila" and "Spanish Eyes" are something special too. But off course their are also typical R'n'G songs like the one we've mentioned before; "I Wish I Could". And off course the singles "Are You Ready?" and "Don't Give Up" are some off the best tracks on that album. The three songs "Everybody", "The Right Time" and "Light Flash" lifts the second album even more. As two bonus tracks, you will get the track with the famous Polish singer Natalia Kukulska, "We'll Be Together" and the great "In Da Hollywood" as a mix of their hit singles "Here Comes The Sun", "Rhythm Of My Heart" and "Open Up Your Mind".

What we also know is that Ricardo has been performing under the name MC Fixx It before R'n'G started their thing. He was rappin on a lot of Cappela tracks also.

In the beginning of 2004, something great happened. We got a visit from G and his partner, on the T-Music Forum. There, they told us that R'n'G + G's brother Mac are working hard on their new group, called Richmen Inc. They will inform us as soon as they drop somethin! So stay tuned at the T-Music Forum.

In late 2005, R'n'Gs producers did what is quite common in the music business; keeping the same name, but bringing new people. We on T-Music think it's very unfair, since it's like two different groups. But hey, that's how it is. So the "new R'n'G" is a totally new group. Read about them on T-Music soon. And remember, that the new R'n'G has nothing to do with the original grup with Jay and Ricardo!

Jay Delano has now his own career and since 2006, he has had great hits like "Close To You", "Just Like Me" and "Rockstar". It's defenitely much R'n'G sound in that so all the fans are have something to remember after R'n'G. Ricardo is leading a Artist Managment company. Read more about their solo careers in their own pages here on T-Music!
